Thanksgiving Bash is our community outreach event. Every year, this mini-festival, held on Flagler St, between 112th and 114th ave, brings together Sweetwater families in a day that we have organized them, we have activities for children, a mini-fair, shows from the Foundation, Turkey Raffles, gifts for children and around 3,000 Free lunches are served to all attendees.
We have had 11 consecutive Thanksgiving Bashes through 2019 (in total over 16,000 meals served; over 5,000 children receiving Christmas toys; 300 turkeys raffled; plus over 700 adult gifts raffled).
In 2020 this party was not celebrated due to the pandemic, but we hope that when things return to normal, we will make it bigger and better to hopefully continue with our mission and vision in support of our community.
