DESCRIPTION: \nDOW 2024 from Daniel Pereira on Vimeo. \nThe Trip.\nThe Lil Abner Foundation hosted the 6th Annual Disney On Wheels  March 1st to 3rd 2024. We took 45 medically fragile children from Miami Dade and Broward County\, to visit Disney’s Magic Kingdom for the 1st time in their lives. \nThe Story.\n \nOn Friday\, we left Dolphin Mall Parking Lot\, after sharing our first meal with the children\, over 100 volunteers\, and many of our sponsors. The group was transported in 3 coach buses\, ambulances and non-emergency vehicles equipped for wheelchairs\, to the Grand Floridian Hotel and Resort at Walt Disney World. There a reception and dinner with Mickey Mouse was waiting for them\, the children received gifts and accessories that they would use the next day. \n  \nThe second day\, we visited the Magic Kingdom and needless to say\, we have many beautiful stories to share about each child’s experience and their caregivers.  Finally\, on  Sunday morning we had breakfast with the Disney characters at the Grand Floridian Convention Center. \n  \n  \nFor an instant\, stop and look at the images and the reactions will tell the full story. DESCRIPTION:The Li’l Abner Foundation joins the “Archery is for everyone” campaign.\nDuring the month of May we will be having the USA Archery and Marvel try archery event. Every Thursday from 7-8 pm we will receive all the people who want to try Archery in our community. \n“TRY ARCHERY” is for all new archers. It is a time of learning with a USA Archery certified instructor or coach who teaches safety\, the basic steps of shooting\, and how to shoot safely with other people in an archery range. You will also learn a little about archery equipment\, and the many benefits of archery in your life. \nLearning archery at any age can be beneficial for discipline\, focus\, personal growth\, and development. And not forgetting it is a whole lot of fun!
